With the amazing success of the Dirt Critters juniors program, Club M.U.D introduced the Junior Development Riders program. Each year junior riders that are looking to race and represent the club have the opportunity to apply for a position as a Junior Development Rider. 

 

Formally the club provides these riders with club sponsored clothing and racewear, entry fees to the Victorian Downhill Series races and guaranteed entry to the King Of Ballarat series. 

 

Informally, the club sets about utilising more experienced riders to mentor the team in not only racing, but also social etiquette, track maintenance and basic bike maintenance. 

 

Many of the JDRs go on to race elite levels and in turn become mentors for future champions.  For more information on the program, and how to apply please click the link below.
